Been busy with study as usual, just doing a sprinkling of postwork on old photos from Melbourne (Jan 2011). Wish I could do more shoots, postwork on these images I've just uploaded has reminded me of how much fun it is and how effectively photography takes me away from the daily grind. There's something unique about photographing that is so different from other activities like shopping or catching up with friends and I really miss that - although I enjoy those other things also.

Contemplating going to Perthnova and doing some snaps for people wandering around the grounds. I've never been to Perthnova before... not much compelling me to go except the Madman National Cosplay Competition - anyone I know entering this yr with cool and elaborate costumes? Drop me a line, convince me it's worth going (and tell me which day would be better to go), I'm totally out of the loop!

Have also been looking into buying more gear ... some continuous lighting with softboxes for a studio setup or perhaps a ringflash (I have to admit, this is because of xiaxue's self portraits, why so pretty?!). But alas funding is an issue...

I am coming to Melbourne for a week in January! Let me know if you'll be available for chillaxing, random lols and fun times Haven't logged in for a while, uni is pretty full on at the moment but I am really looking forward to the holidays o__o

Have been stalking up a lot of awesome cosplay lately on here and facebook! Wow... when I come over the melbourne, I'm keen to do some cosplay shoots with some friends, but don't expect too much because I am rusty. SOOO rusty. I just shoot because I enjoy it, and for the awesome company :3 Can't wait to see Aly and K <3 <3

Life is running faster than I can at the moment.
There won't be anything posted here until I have a chance to breathe.
Things are going well though!
It's a short term sacrifice for long term gain kind of thing

Went to WAICON last weekend, it was fun to wander around and see all the crazy and/or elaborate costumes that people put together, many of which were created from scratch. That's what makes the con for me, although the panels and other things are interesting, it's the cosplay that I really went to see. It's amazing to see the craftsmanship that some people put into their outfits, a few of which I actually recognised

Took some pictures of and 's friends from over east on Monday. Everyone was really friendly and easy to work with and I got a handful of shots I am happy with as well as heaps of exercise running around taking photographs! I fiddled with a few just quickly in Lightroom and posted up my favourites from the shoot we did during the day.

PS.: Not really on top of things right now, have a rather large backlog of photography work and other things I need to be doing So if you're waiting on something from me, please know that I am working on it!
